Whoa back just a second - a hotter plug doesn't mean more fire in the hole - it means that the temperature of the spark is higher.
With our big singles - heat is the enemy.
Adding more heat via the plug is not in the best interests of the plug, your motor, your love of fixing burned pistons or for that matteryour bank balance.
A hot spark plug can lead directly to burning a hole in the top of the piston - this is most common in two stroke engines but it can happen in four strokes too
I would mess about the the air filter until the cows come home if that is your gig - but I would never move outside the heat range suggested by the Suzuki guys - or outside the recommended plug either for that matter
